AMTA’s 75th Anniversary Promotional Campaign Wins Communicator Award of Distinction
The American Massage Therapy Association’s 75th Anniversary Promotional Campaign has won a 2019 Communicator Award of Distinction.
The 25th Annual Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals, with over 6,000 entries received from across the US and around the world. AMTA joins Ford Motor Company, Bank of America, and Whirlpool as winners in the same category.
The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), a 600+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
“We are extremely proud to recognize the work received in the 25th Annual Communicator Awards. The class of entries we received this season embodies the ever-evolving marketing and communications industry,” noted Derek Howard, director of AVIA. “On behalf of the Academy, I’d like to applaud the entrants this season for their dedication to producing outstanding content as they continue to push the envelope of creativity.”
About AMTA’s 75th Anniversary Campaign
AMTA’s promotional anniversary campaign focused on celebrating our members as leaders in health and wellness over the past 75 years. This integrated effort included a custom logo and tagline “75 Years Strong”, a commemorative issue of Massage Therapy Journal and a web site feature with a historic timeline of association milestones and photographs.
As part of the campaign, AMTA promoted the massage therapy profession, massage therapists and schools in a nationwide radio advertising campaign. We also created a 75th anniversary montage video of members discussing how AMTA has helped them, and what it means to be part of the community. Thank you to everyone who joined us this past summer to celebrate our 75th Anniversary at our annual convention in Washington, D.C.!
