Tall Ships Return to Portland!
After a 15-year absence, in a spectacular display of the Golden Age of Sail, 10 – 12 tall ships will return to Portland’s waterfront. 4 Class A vessels from around the world will join local and regional ships to offer deck tours and sailaways. Join us. Don’t miss us. The ships aren’t in town long.
July 18, 2015 Parade of Sail – Free viewing from around Portland Harbor
July 19 & 20, 2015 Festival begins! Ship tours, music and food. Ticket required to tour all ships and to enter the festival except the USCG Eagle. Tall ships providing sailaways from Compass Park inside Maine State Pier require a separate ticket.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? There are no age requirements. Strollers are welcome for little children (children under 5 are free). Please wear comfortable shoes as you are on a pier. Stroller parking, (and whatever you leave with it) contents, is at the risk of the owner.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Portland has many downtown parking options. Please check back closer to the event for preferred parking and handicapped options as well.
What can/can’t I bring to the event? Please – NO backpacks. Baby bags are fine if there is a baby in your group.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable? Yes, if they have your printed ticket.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Yes – you will need either your printed ticket, or your ticket on your phone so it can be scanned at the entrance gate.
What is the refund policy? Iberdrola USA Tall Ships Portland 2015 is a fundraiser for youth education and opportunity programs. Tickets are non-refundable.
Are dogs allowed, even little ones that are carried? No – please leave Man’s Best Friend at home. They will be happier and so will we.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay? Yes. If you can’t use your tickets, please pass them along so someone else can enjoy them!
Where can I leave my baby stroller? Strollers are left on the dock while you tour the ships. We work from an honor system. Please remove any valuables.
Schedule reminder: Ships sail In to Portland on Saturday, July 18. Viewing is free. Ships are not open for boarding or tours after the Parade. The ships are open for tours on Sunday and Monday, July 19 and 20. Check the website for more details.
