From the West | Los Angeles to Phoenix

From the Northwest | Las Vegas to Phoenix
- Hoover Dam Lookout – Get an overhead view of the Hoover Dam, take a tour including walking across it, and stand in two states at once.
- Desert Caballeros Western Museum – Museum in downtown Wickenburg with exhibits on the Western heritage of the town.
- Vulture City Mine and Ghost Town – An abandoned settlement initially established in 1863, it’s a popular spot to learn local and Arizona history.
From the West | Albuquerque to Phoenix
- Dinosaurs in Holbrook – Holbrook, once a part of the original Route 66, is also home to Petrified Forest National Park and a lot of dinosaur fossils. See fossils or the real thing.
- Grants, NM – Grants is the gateway to a number of national parks, monuments and Native American pueblos, including Chaco Canyon, El Malpais, El Morro, Acoma-Sky City and Laguna.
From the Southeast | El Paso to Phoenix
- White Sands – See the sweeping scenery of the National Park or visit the White Sands Missile Range Museum.
- Titan Missile Museum – Experience a relic of the Cold War and see the only remaining Titan II ICBM.
- Saguaro National Park – Named for the saguaro cati, the largest in the country, the park spans 92,000 acres split into two parks – one each to the east and west of Tucson.
